Endowment Fund

The Nashoba Regional High School Endowment Fund was established in 1999 as a means of providing funding to NRHS staff to enrich, complement, and encourage the educational experience of NRHS students, both within and outside the classroom.  The Endowment Fund supports enrichment programs and materials across all academic disciplines, and currently funding is made available through two grant cycles each school year.

Staff may request funding for enrichment activities, classroom materials not covered by site-based funds, and start-up costs for pilot programs.  Programs and materials benefitting a large number of students and which enhance classroom learning with potential for long-term impact receive priority attention.

Endowment Fund grants do not replace existing district funding and are not intended as the sole source for any ongoing programs.  All items funded by the Endowment Fund become property of Nashoba Regional High School, and the Endowment Fund is not responsible for maintaining or replacing any materials purchased through a Fund grant.

In addition, the NRHS Endowment Fund offers each year the Mary Ann Sessions Excellence in Education Award in recognition of outstanding contributions to Nashoba Regional High School by a staff member.  Nominations are solicited via staff, students and the community, and the recognition is awarded at the Underclassmen Awards Night in June.
